Rules

Last updated 24 July 2026

Our product is a recording of a person doing their job. That is an unusual thing to sell, and it deserves rules that are written down and easy to hold us to. These are ours.

Consent comes first, and it is real consent

Everyone we record agrees beforehand, in a language they actually speak, having been told what is being recorded, who it goes to, and what it is used for. Consent that depends on someone not understanding it is not consent.

We pay for time

Recording is work, and we pay for it. Nobody is recorded as a condition of keeping a job or getting a shift.

Anyone can stop

A person can end a recording at any moment, for any reason or none, and still be paid for the time already given.

We record the work, not the person

We are interested in hands and tasks. We remove what identifies people where we can. We do not record minors, medical or intimate situations, private conversations, or documents that carry personal details.

Safety is not negotiable

We do not record unsafe work. If a site is unsafe, the answer is to fix it or leave, not to film it. Nobody should be rushed, posed, or pushed into doing a job differently because a camera is on.

No surprises for the people in frame

Everyone recorded knows the material may train machines that could one day do parts of that job. We would rather say that plainly and pay properly than be vague about it.

Buyers accept these terms too

Anyone who receives our data agrees to use it for training and evaluation, and not to attempt to identify the people in it or resell their likeness.

Ask us to delete

If you have been recorded and you want it gone, write to us and it goes, from everything we still control. See Privacy for the honest limits of that.
